When you only have a small space to work with, it's important to take advantage of every square inch. Especially if we are talking about a kitchen. Most kitchens have a couple of larger drawers – one for flatware and one for cooking utensils. What happens, however, if there isn't room for two? We have a great design that can solve this problem and still leave room for a cabinet below with plenty of storage for pots and pans.
In this remodel, we included a great double drawer. We took a small amount of space from the cabinet below and built a larger drawer above, with a hidden, stacked drawer inside. This allows for all your utensils to be stored in one place while retaining your ability to keep things organized.
